Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, Kent, Greater London. She is most famous for roles in films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other like 'Hansel & Grete: Witch Hunters. She was born at Gravesend near Greater London. While at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she started her acting career in the role of an actress supporting in the comedy 'St. Trinian's'. The James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which was released just a few days later, she was a supporting role. It was a huge success commercially, and received moderate reviewers. In the following film, she played the lead female character in the action film 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time'. She played a role as an assistant in the French film "Orphan.' Arterton's career has seen her receiving numerous nominations for awards. The award she received was the prestigious Empire Award for best newcomer in the film Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for the role she played on the stage in Made in Dagenham.
