Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19th, 2008) was an American film, theatre, television, and voice actress. [1] Pleshette started her career in the theatre and started appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s and later appeared in films with a notable name such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was a regular guest on various television productions. She was also a part of Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish, the children of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
