Kat Dennings was born on 13 June 1986 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and was named Katherine Victoria Litwack. Ellen Dennings served as her mom and a speech therapist, and Gerald was the father as well as a professor at a university. Dennings, the youngest of five siblings and born to her Jewish mother and father is an accomplished actress. Dennings went through homeschooling and attended school only for a short time. Since she wanted to pursue acting from a young age, the homeschool arrangement made the most sense since she could complete high school at the age of fourteen. Already at age nine, she started to act in commercials. Then she moved to Los Angeles with her family after graduating from high school, to study acting. Kat Dennings is the name she used when auditioning. Kat Dennings who moved between LA to LA in 2000, made her debut on the HBO series called "Sex and the City". In 2000, Kat Dennings was a part of "Sex and the City" in HBO.
