Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American screen and stage actor and producer. She is most famous as an actress in films for her roles on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a writer and American actress active in theatre, television and film. Her career began acting in the theatre before going on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known roles were as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's epic The Book of Negroes. Both series received major critical acclaim, but she also won a lot of prizes. Her professional acting debut with the character Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Alongside the Broadway production Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise, she's best known for roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a regular in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
