Awkwafina began as an American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with topics like racial or sexual identity with a comedic twist. Before expanding to Hollywood the singer could make a few songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap.
